6 shot at festival, no arrests
Authorities say six people have been injured in a shooting at Houston music festival.
Houston police spokeswoman Jodi Silva said witnesses told police that a man opened fire at 1:55 a.m. Saturday inside an arena filled with several thousand fans attending the Houston Caribbean Festival, hitting four men.
Silva says people panicked and began to flee, and two females were hurt.
Silva says the shooting victims were taken to hospitals, and one man is in critical condition.
There have been no arrests. The Houston Police Department is calling for people with information to come forward.
Silva says off-duty policemen were at the festival but they were on the perimeter of the arena.
