ROAD 13 VINEYARDS
Sparkling Chenin Blank 2008, Okanagan Valley, BC $35
This lively bottle of fermented sparkling wine made in the traditional French champagne method is indeed a celebration in a bottle and perfect for any day and any occasion. Too often we think sparkling wines are only for special occasions. Drink a glass every day and celebrate life! Made from 100% chenin blanc grapes from 40-year old vines, it has lively strings of tiny bubbles rising in the glass and a pale, golden straw colour. Great toasty brioche, crisp apples and a yeasty nose. The taste is crisp, dry and refreshing with great acidity and balance. 12% alcohol
