We’re excited to present our new iPhone application to the Okanagan Valley!

You can conveniently read the latest local news or check out the weather. Why not plan your evenings using the movies and events information? Also included is the Kelowna International Airport arrival schedule. As you can see here in the photo, you can also stream local radio stations - it’s all right at your finger tips.

In addition to providing the latest local information to the Okanagan’s iPhone users, we also wanted to provide the tools that will allow iPhone users to report their own news. The app has a feature that allows iPhone users to snap a photo, enter some text and send the information straight to the Castanet News Team.

Now, a number of Okanagan residents have already downloaded the app and provided feedback and the primary request is to include Classifieds. This is a great idea and will be included in future updates to the app. We love the feedback, so keep it coming!
