Christmas compilation for Food Bank

Most of us of us have a selection of Christmas tunes to help celebrate the festive season. Everyone from James Taylor to The Smashing Pumpkins has put out great versions of Christmas songs however not many of us have songs from great local artists to help us hang up the mistletoe. A song recorded by a talented artist who might live in your own neighborhood would be a great way to bring Christmas a little closer to home.

TribeHouse Artist Collective in conjunction with Creative Okanagan has assembled some of the Okanagan’s finest singer/songwriters to record a brand new Digital release entitled ‘TribeHouse Christmas Compilation Vol. 1’.

The project features many original songs as well as some fresh versions of Holiday favorites to help warm up the season. Artists include Joshua Smith, Nico Boesten, Brent Tyler, Raquel Warchol, Corey Doak, Norm Strauss, Graham + Aaron Ord, Ryan Donn, Jesse Padget, Johanna Olson & Jordan Leibel, and Michaela Burger with artwork by Carrie Harper (The Pear Workshop).

This recording is for Digital release only and will be available online at www.tribehouse.org starting Dec 2nd. All Proceeds from the online sales will go to benefit Kelowna Community Food Bank.

Bonus: Kelowna based Music City Podcast has just released a Christmas special featuring indie Canadian music with a strong focus on Okanagan artists. Its a chocabloc 43 minute show featuring some great new Christmas songs for you to discover.
