Oct 24, 2012 / 8:00 am

The Jazz Cafe celebrates its 5th season opener this weekend and Bond is the theme. Host, founder, and birthday girl Anna Jacyszyn will be on vocals while a collection of the who's who in the local Jazz scene will provide the instrumentation. Bernie Addington -Double Bass, Neville Bowman – Piano, Craig Thomson – Saxophone, Scott
Gamble – Drums with special musical guest: Loni Moger on Guitar.

They will be on stage performing 007 title tracks while guests mingle and schmooze with cocktails and canapés, dressed to the 9’s in glamorous Bond Film characters.

The unfortunate news is that the event is sold out but this is just the kick off event to a season of Jazz that will fill the Black Box Theatre each month during their winter season of events.  The Jazz Cafe's goal is to inspire and revive our love for Jazz music. "Our guest musicians as well as our House Band will inject their own creative touches each month giving you a bespoke jazz experience that cannot be imitated."

Membership to the Jazz Cafe is open to anyone and if your interested in purchasing season or individual tickets call  250 763-6141 or email fabulousPR@gmail.com
