1.8 million hits for Filmmaker

Yellow Sticky Notes was created in Kelowna by Jeff Chiba Stearns. As of today it has over 1.8 million views on Youtube. Yellow Sticky Notes world wide debut was in the Okanagan College Theatre a few years ago and has gone on to win numerous awards. As one of the first animators to gain notoriety from the Okanagan it is fitting that it was announced yesterday that another animation studio is moving to the Okanagan.
The following is an interview I did with Jeff talking about the growth of his animation/filmmaking career and the support that the Knowledge Network offered to him on his latest project. As a reminder the Knowledge Network is in Kelowna today (Thursday) offering a free workshop to upcoming filmmakers and a free screening of a documentary at the Paramount Theatre.
For those who have yet to see it here is his award winning short animation: Yellow Sticky Notes
