There has been a lot of talk about anti-bullying in the past few years but I think one of the campaigns that has resonated the most in this community is the #iamME campaign spearheaded by Loyal Wooldridge. As he will tell you its more about an empowerment campaign than anything else. Loyal is the owner of Loyal Hair Therapy, a multiaward winning hair sallon, a business he started at an age far younger than most entrepreuners in town. After interviewing Kevin and Sonya I asked a lot of folks who I should interview next. A few people mentioned Loyal as he was not only an example of a successful business but he had also really focused his marketing about making a differance (kinda like those Dove campaigns). I sat down with him recently at Music City Studio to talk about his #iamME campaign, his recent engagement, and what's coming up down the road for him:

There is a fabulous gangster themed event happening this July 18th that I also wanted to encourage you to check out. It truly looks like one of the unique events Kelowna has seen for a while.
Here is the facebook event page link to it: https://www.facebook.com/events/1374796209460302/
