Garbage truck almost loses its load

The intersection of Butt Road and Louie Drive will be blocked for sometime after a garbage truck rolled on to its side just after 1 p.m. Monday afternoon.

Officials at the scene say the truck was travelling through the roundabout towards the highway when its load shifted and the vehicle tipped over.

The driver has been taken to hospital with undetermined injures, but no other vehicles were involved in the incident.
