Traffic along Highway 97 heading into Kelowna was reduced to one lane after a Kelowna transit bus and truck collided late Thursday afternoon.
The incident occurred shortly before 5 p.m. just past the Westside Road Interchange.
Witnesses on a separate transit bus say the driver of the bus involved in the incident radioed to say everyone on that bus were okay.
According to police the truck apparently hit the median and turned sideways when it was hit by the bus.
No word on injuries, if any, to those in the truck.
