This Saturday, from 11-2pm, the West Kelowna Kraft Hockeyville team encourages everybody to come and join them at Shannon Lake for a day of pond hockey and public skating!

Bring the whole family down and show your support for West Kelowna’s Kraft Hockeyville bid on the final weekend before entries for the competition close!

“With just a few days left before the competition entry deadline closes, we wanted to have one more fun day of activities to show Kraft and CBC just how much we love our hockey and how much we love West Kelowna!” says west Kelowna Kraft Hockeyville Co-Chair Andrew Deans.

“Kids can get their picture taken with Wally, play Hockey with the entire Westside Warriors team, and just enjoy the outdoors and some great pond skating!”

Second Cup will be on hand providing free Hot Chocolate. Free posters will also be available, courtesy of Manchester Signs, for families to take home and put up in their windows!

It’s also rumoured a special guest may be joining in the activities that day.

“We’ve been talking to Danny Watkins, West Kelowna native and Philadelphia Eagles lineman. Danny’s completely behind our Hockeyville bid and has told us he may come and join us for the day. That would be a terrific boost for all the kids and families out there!” adds Deans.
