One woman has been taken to hospital after a single vehicle rollover in West Kelowna Wednesday morning.

Many accidents were reported in the Okanagan early Wednesday morning.
A couple from Alberta were lucky to escape with their lives in one of the more serious incidents in West Kelowna.
Witnesses report the couple was driving down Gellatly Rd. towards the lake when their vehicle left the road and plummeted down a ravine. It rolled over on its roof trapping the couple.
West Kelowna fire crews had to climb down to the wreck and pry the doors off of the car to get the couple out.
A middle age man appeared to suffer minor abrasions. The female occupant was more seriously injured. Rescue crews strapped her to a stretcher and pulled her to safety using ropes to get her to the top of the embankment.
Warmer temperatures causing a melt and then the water refreezing on the road's surface seems to be one of the major causes of the accidents in the central Okanagan this week, as black ice is being reported in several areas.
RCMP continue to investigate the cause of the Gellatly Rd. crash.
Residents say their calls for better road maintenance are being ignored. Castanet's Kelly Hayes reports.
