West Kelowna Mayor Doug Findlater says his council is working to slow motorists down when traveling through the city.
According to Findlater, Council took action by decided to hire an RCMP traffic reservist to conduct speed watches.
"That gentleman who will be hired this year, will work 200, 8 hour shifts doing speed control in West Kelowna. So when you're driving through West Kelowna slow down."
Findlater says his council hears from many residents concerned about speeding vehicles.
