Images show that rain paid off

If the images are accurate, Thursday's rain paid off.

Thermoguy, Curtis Bennett of Kelowna, has released thermal images showing the fire's hot spots and path prior to and after the first dump of rain.

The images also show just how close the flames are to La Casa Resort (arrow).

Thunderstorms remain in the forecast for Friday and Saturday.
