Rescue above Smith Creek

Fire crews in West Kelowna were called out to rescue an injured hiker in the Smith Creek area Thursday morning.

The man apparently fell on the trail above Smith Creek and required the assistance of rescue personnel.

Firefighters and BC Ambulance attended the scene.

No word on the extent of the man's injuries or his condition.
