West Kelowna's celebrity moose, Millie, was spotted again this morning this time in the Springer Road area.
Elizabeth Noble tells Castanet, "I just woke up and looked out the window and spotted Millie moving through the yard. She looks sad, I hope she's ok?"
Millie has been spotted all over West Kelowna for the past month or so. She hasn't caused any trouble so far except for one incident where she kicked at a family dog. Conservation officer's tell Castanet Moose can confuse small domestic pets for wolves and will protect themselves.
Still no word on what Millie is looking for.
Although she has been spotted by Melissa Rainkle, cruising through the drive-thru DQ in West Kelowna yesterday and earlier in the week she was spotted at Buckerfield’s Country store inside their warehouse on Main Street in West Kelowna.
Perhaps she's hungry or lonely. Poor lost Millie, maybe she just needs a hug on Pink Shirt day.
