Paddleboarder rescue call

Emergency crews were called to rescue a paddle boarder on the Okanagan Lake late Sunday afternoon.

Police and fire crews responded to the Peachland Marina after a call to help marine rescue at about 5:20 p.m.

The paddle boarder was reportedly found to be in trouble just north of Rattlesnake Island.

It is not known at this time, whether the rescue was completed, and the Peachland Fire Department has not, yet, responded to calls for details.
