Gellatly Road Harley crash

Emergency crews have been called to a motorcycle accident on the Westside Sunday afternoon.

Police, fire and ambulance crews responded to the crash on Gellatly Road near the CN dock.

The operator of the Harley Davidson crashed on a left-hand curve and landed in the ditch.

Witnesses said emergency crews worked on the man for 25 minutes before loading him into an ambulance and taking him to Kelowna General Hospital.

The accident happened at around 6:40 p.m.

There is no word on the condition of the man or the cause of the accident.

The accident scene has been cleared.
