Looking for liquor thieves

A liquor store in West Kelowna is hoping that releasing security footage of some alleged thieves in action will help identify those responsible.

Cask & Barrel Liquor Store in West Kelowna posted the video on Facebook yesterday – hoping to help police identify the, “creeps that helped themselves”.

The video shows the men grabbing liquor bottles off the shelves and shoving the bottles in their clothes to hide them as they walk out the door just before 7 p.m. on Saturday.

Cask & Barrel wrote on Facebook that the three men made off with bottles of vodka, Jägermeister, Fireball and coconut rum.

The three alleged culprits in the video are the bald man wearing sunglasses on his head walking toward camera, the man wearing the black ball cap and puffy jacket with fur collar and the man with the brown jacket and Timberland toque.

The three men took off from the scene in a dark pick-up truck with a green box in the back and a ‘DC’ sticker on the tailgate.

Anyone with information on the identity of the alleged thieves is asked to call the West Kelowna RCMP at 250-768-2880.

Remain anonymous by calling Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477, leaving a tip online at www.crimestoppers.net or by texting your tip to CRIMES (274637) ktown.
