Transit service will be available on Sunday, November 30 at two new RapidBus stations on Highway 97 at Westlake Road and Hudson Road.
The new stations are part of the 97 Okanagan route that was extended to the Westside on August 31. Schedule information is available here.
The Westlake-Hudson stations are part of the Kelowna RapidBus project.
RapidBus is designed to improve travel time, reliability, passenger comfort and convenience. It features fast, direct service and modern, attractive amenities.
Kelowna RapidBus is a partnership between Transport Canada, the BC Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure, City of Kelowna, District of West Kelowna, Westbank First Nation and BC Transit.
In total, the project will receive up to $46 million from federal, provincial and local partners.
