Cougar sighting in Glenrosa

West Kelowna RCMP are advising the residents of the Glenrosa area to use caution as a large adult Cougar was sighted in the Inverness road area.

Members of the West Kelowna RCMP attended but were advised by the complainant that the cat had left his property heading into Glen Canyon.

Patrols proved negative in locating the animal. BC Conservation Service has been advised.

A reminder to area residents to be aware when children are playing outside and be mindful of pets that may also be outside.

If the cougar is sighted please contact conservation as well as West Kelowna RCMP.

If you have pics or video of the cougar, send to [email protected]
