Help for pets during wildfire

Rose Valley Veterinary Clinic is once again offering free kenneling for cats, and free check ups for pets who may have been injured or are having problems breathing due to the Smith Creek fire.

Dr. Oz contacted Castanet to say unfortunately he does not have any dog kennels available right now, but has fielded several calls from people wanting him to board their cats.

Oz says he is available 24 hours a day to anyone who needs his assistance with a pet following the evacuation order that was put into place for the Smith Creek blaze.

The clinic is located at 2476 Westlake Rd, Kelowna and you may contact them by calling (250) 769-9109.
