Man shot with pellet gun

Police are still investigating a bizarre incident where a man was taken to hospital after being shot with a pellet gun.

The 59-year-old West Kelowna man appeared to have been shot while in the back yard of the home on Apollo Road and Old Okanagan Highway, on June 26 around 5:45 p.m.

Cst. Kris Clark says police have identified several suspects of interest but need to speak with the victim for more information.

Clark says it appears the man may have been living in a tent in the backyard of the home, where the incident happened.

The victim suffered minor injuries and was taken from the scene by ambulance.
