Warriors welcome back alumni

Upwards of 50 former members of the West Kelowna Warriors will be back in town for the club's second annual Alumni Weekend.

The weekend includes the alumni hockey game Saturday, May 31 at 6 p.m. at Royal LePage Place.

Admission is $2 and a non-perishable food item for the Westside Community Food Bank.

Players will be broken up into two teams with Team (Justin) Schultz taking on Team (Alex) Grieve.

The annual alumni golf tournament tees off Sunday afternoon, June 1 at 2:30 at Two Eagles Golf Club.

Limited spaces are still available.

Cost is $150 which includes lunch, dinner, golf balls, signed 8X10 Justin Schultz picture and golf with a Warriors alumni.

Proceeds from the weekend go to support West Kelowna Minor Hockey, West Kelowna Kid Sport, Westside Community Food Bank and the Warriors Alumni fund.

Last year more than $7,000 was raised.
