Scooter rider sent to hospital

Emergency crews were called to a scooter crash on Louie Drive in West Kelowna Friday night.

The rider was taken to hospital with undetermined injuries.

According to witnesses the crash happened just before 8:30. The scooter was heading towards Elk Road at the time of the accident. No other vehicle appeared to be involved in the incident.

One lane of Louie Drive, by the CIBC driveway, was blocked off for a short time while emergency crews attended the scene.
