Firefighters work on a garage fire in West Kelowna Saturday night.
Just after 9 p.m. firefighters responded to a fire in a detached garage in the 600 block of Keefe Road.
The first crew on scene reported flames showing from the roof of the garage. Firefighters were able to knock the fire down quickly and prevent further damage to the structure and any chance of it spreading into a nearby cedar hedge .
A total of three engines, one safety officer, and one command vehicle attended the scene putting a total of 14 firefighters on location. West Kelowna Fire was supported by West Kelowna RCMP and BC Hydro.
There are no injuries to report, the cause of the is under investigation but believed to be accidental at this time.
