Running for Tiffany

A run is being held Sunday afternoon in memory of a West Kelowna woman murdered last year.

Tiffany June Goruk was found dead in a car, alongside Jeremy Snow, on Feb. 18, 2013.

A year after losing the 30-year-old mother of two, family and friends are taking to Knox mountain to remember their loved one.

The 'Tiffany's Angel Run' has been organized by Goruk's step-mother Heather Rippel, who writes of the young mother:

"Tiffany had a beautiful soul and touched so many people in her life. Kash & Ty are forever without their mother who adored them. Family and friends have lost a woman whose force made you laugh & cry, sometimes all at once."

The run will take participants out on the path to Paul's Tomb, which was Goruk's favourite hike.

The run is also meant to serve as a reminder that, although police continue to investigate, no arrests have been made in the case.

The event starts at 1 p.m., with registration at 12 p.m. for anyone who did not pre-register.
