The police standoff is over.

Neighbouring residents are now allowed to return to their homes.

A police officer on the scene says the emergency response team is set to breach the home.

SWAT vehicles have left the command post at Volcanic Hills Estate Winery.

A police incident in West Kelowna has both Stevenson Rd. and Teal Rd. evacuated.

Neighbours have been told a person is in a home with a possible gun and that RCMP are negotiating with that individual.

Anders Rd. is also blocked off at Boucherie Rd. and there are numerous police cars in the area.

A command post has been set up at Volcanic Hills Estate Winery.

Police say they have unconfirmed reports of a man barricaded in his home with a gun. An RCMP armoured tactical response vehicle has also arrived at the scene.
