Suspected drunk driver ditches car

A blue Suburu WRX was found in a ditch off Bear Creek Road Saturday morning and the driver was no where to be found.

RCMP on the scene say the male driver and female occupant fled the scene before ambulance or RCMP arrived.

The car with Alberta plates landed on its wheels and sustained serious front end damage.

RCMP suspect drunk driving was involved and thats why they ran from the scene.

A beer can, water bottle and pair of silver stilettos were found on the side of the road.

Bear Creek Road was quite slippery Saturday morning which may have contributed to the accident.

RCMP are asking anyone with information on this accident to call the Kelowna RCMP Tip Line at 250-470-6236.
