Crash stalls rush hour traffic

Old Okanagan Highway was and a virtual standstill Tuesday afternoon after an SUV rear-ended a pickup truck.

According to the West Kelowna Fire Department, one woman from the Chevy pickup truck was taken away to hospital with what they say are fairly serious injuries.

A woman and her infant where in the white Lincoln Navigator and received minor injuries. They were not transported to hospital.

The cause of the accident is unknown and police are investigating.
