Slip sliding on the Westside

Slippery roads got the best of two drivers on the Westside late Friday afternoon.

A vehicle rolled off of Hwy. 97, north of Elk Rd., at around 4:20 p.m.

The small SUV went over the bank and rolled onto its roof. The occupants were able to self extricate.

In another incident close to the rollover, a pickup truck slid off of Elk Rd. at Creekview Crescent. It went  through a fence before coming to rest in a yard. This also happened at about the same time as the rollover.

No major injuries were reported in either crash.
