A most popular cruise port; it's more that just an Island to pop into.  Only 32 square miles in size, St. Thomas is the most cosmopolitan of the US Virgin Islands - and the most luxurious.

Charlotte Amalie, the capital of the Virgin Islands is the most popular cruise port in the Caribbean. Charlotte Amalie (named for a Danish Queen) is where the ships dock and is located on the south coast of St.Thomas. Boasting the world’s prettiest beaches, there's more to do that just beach bum! Try re-discovering history at museums, forts or historic houses. Enjoy stunning panoramic views - a photographer's dream come true! Explore the island via a hike, bike or 700 ft. sky tram.  Play a round of golf, make a splash in the turquoise waters, or visit duty-free shops. Every sort of water sport imaginable is available. Scuba, snorkel, motorised and non-motorised water sports abound. Go yachting for the day, kayak, or try fishing!

St. Thomas hotels offer luxurious accommodations to complement the ultimate feeling of being spoiled. Known for their sophisticated ambiance, five-star dining, and world renowned nightlife, hotels in St. Thomas offer a variety of lodging alternatives from grand resort estates to small private inns and villas. There are an abundance of privately run B&B's and even two luxury campgrounds on the island!

There are daily, nonstop flights from New York, Baltimore, Atlanta, Miami, Philadelphia, Boston, Charlotte, Detroit, Chicago and Fort Lauderdale. Connecting flights are available to and from Los Angeles, Dallas, New York, Miami and Atlanta. And via the USA there's connecting service from Canada. Commuter service between the islands of San Juan, St. Croix and St. Thomas is also available. Commuter airlines can transport you between islands in as little as 17 minutes. The seaplane is an exciting way to travel between as well !
