Lind player of the week

Kelowna Rockets forward Kole Lind has been named the Western Hokey League's player of the week.

Lind picked up eight points in three games last week, three goals and five assists.

The Rockets won all three.

Lind had three helpers in an 8-2 win over Calgary.

Then, in back-to-back wins in Prince George, Lind had two goals and a goal and two assists respectively.

The Shaunavon, Sask., native leads the Rockets in goals (25), assists (41) and points (66).

Lind and the Rockets look for a fourth straight win Wednesday when they conclude a three-game road trip in Kamloops.

They return home to host Vancouver Friday in the first of back-to-back games between the BC Division rivals.
