There has been a bar shooting and police stand-off in Osoyoos. It happened Saturday night at the Burrowing Owl Pub when a 48 year old man was shot in the leg and foot by a handgun.
The police traced the suspects to a house in town and arrested two men. Police locked down the area until the Emergency Response Team was in place to handle the stand-off. The final two men agreed to come out around 6 am Sunday morning and they were arrested. A woman was also released without charges.
A 19 year old Osoyoos man, a 38 year old Osoyoos man as well as a 20 year old Oliver man are charged with assault with a weapon. A fourth 45 year old man from Mission faces the same charges as well as aggravated assault and possession of a restricted weapon.
