Mud Bog Attack: Update

A young Lake Country man wanted in connection with an alleged sexual assault is in police custody.

The alleged incident happened on May 22 at an unsanctioned Mud Bog event on Postill Lake Rd.

Police say the alleged attack occurred when the victim became separated from her family while walking back to her car. The woman was allegedly dragged into some bushes where she was sexually assaulted and released.

Police say they picked up the accused at his home this week.

The man's name has not been released.

He's 24.
