Vernon Disturbed Man

Police are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a mentally disturbed man that fled from a Vernon residence on Roger’s Road yesterday afternoon prior to police attendance.

Police had attended the residence off Silver Star Road in order to execute a Mental Health Act Warrant on the man.

Jean Sebastian HEBTING, (Age: 30) is described as wearing blue sweat pants and beach thongs. Police are uncertain what he is wearing above the waist. He is 6' tall, caucasian, unkempt brown hair, blue eyes with a slim build. He has no weapons but has had a history of violence. Mr. HEBTING may be displaying paranoid symptoms, bizarre behaviour, and is delusional.

Mr. HEBTING has committed no crimes but does require immediate psychiatric help. If anyone spots this male, or is aware of his current location, they are urged to call 9-1-1.

Update:Police say the man has been located.(Thurs. 12:00 P.M.)
