According to the Vernon Fire Department, a two-vehicle accident that happened last night could have been much worse.

The incident occurred around 4:30 p.m. at the intersection of Hwy 97 and College Way when one car T-boned the other.

As the picture shows, the outcome may have been different if someone had been riding in the passenger seat.
