Paramedics secure the crash victim of an accident at Anderson Way and 27th Street in Vernon Thursday night.
One woman was taken to hospital and a man was extracted from his truck using rescue tools following an accident on Anderson Way late Thursday night.
One witness says a man ran a red light and struck a sport utility vehicle, flipping the vehicles at the intersection of Anderson Way and 27th Street at about 11 p.m.
"I heard swerving and looked up and saw them hit," said Gary Ouellette. "The truck flipped and slid about 30 feet."
"He was trapped but OK, and firemen cut him out," Ouellette said of the man driving the truck. "The ladies climbed out of their vehicle and waited on the curb for an ambulance. One was taken away on a stretcher with a neck brace and bleeding...."
More details to come.
