Vernon and North Okanagan

Update 10:15 a.m. - Power has been restored to all but about five customers in the Galiano Road area.

About 250 BC Hydro customers in Vernon are in the dark.

According to BC Hydro's website, three separate power outages hit the Vernon area Tuesday morning.

The largest outage affects about 230 customers north of Mable Lake Road, south of Deuling Road, east of Rawlings Lake Road, and west of Sigalet Road.

The power went off late Monday night and is expected to be restored sometime this morning.

Two other outages have affected a handful of customers in the Falkland and Galiano road areas.
