Duck Lake Crash

A suspected car thief is under arrest after a two car crash on Highway 97 near Duck Lake just before noon Saturday.

RCMP took a 22 year old Penticton man into custody after responding to the accident which injured a mother and her two daughters from Salmon Arm.

The suspected car thief totaled a stolen 1997 Saturn and is facing numerous charges.

Two other females in the stolen car were also detained by police for questioning.

Traffic was disrupted on the highway for over an hour.
