Over 1000 marijuana plants seized
by RCMP - Story: 70109

Police in Vernon dismantled a large grow operation, on Monday.

RCMP Spokesperson Gord Molendyk says officers entered a residence in the 3700 block of 24 Avenue just before 10 a.m. to find nobody home.

"They located 1448 marijuana plants in various stages of growth throughout the home."

A hydro bypass was also located at the house.

The police are continuing the investigation.
