Search suspended for missing man

The search for a man missing in the North Okanagan man has been suspended.

Vernon Search and Rescue started searching for the 22-year-old earlier this week after he was reported missing in Trinity Valley by the Lumby RCMP.

Leigh Pearson with VSAR says the search was called off because all the likely areas the man could be have been thoroughly searched.

“At this point, we are suspending the search because there isn't really anything more we can do until we get a new tip or information as to where this man could be,” says Pearson.

He says SAR used ATVs, man trackers, ground crews and air crews to search for the man.
