A shooting is being investigated in the North Okanagan.
Vernon RCMP were called to investigate a shooting just after 6:20 p.m. Friday.
RCMP spokesperson Gordon Molendyk says the complaint came from a farm in the Westwold area.
“An altercation took place between a farm owner and three people who were in the area for an evening hunt. The altercation ended with the farmer suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg,” says Molendyk.
He says the man was rushed to Kamloops Hospital with life threatening injuries.
“A female is suffering from injuries she sustained in the altercation with the farmer.”
It’s not known what the altercation was about.
