Vernon Police arrested 12 people Thursday during a raid on a known crack house at 3503 27th Avenue.
The raid was the result of covert activities by police around the area of the Upper Room Mission and people's Place building.
"Police seized a very small quantity of crystal meth, small quantities of psilocybin mushrooms and marijuana from the home," says Inspector, Steve McVarnock.
"Two of the men appeared in court Friday in relation to these drug charges."
McVarnock says two stolen mountain bikes were also found in the home.
"It should be noted that this is the first crystal meth seizure resulting from a local search warrant of any undercover operation conducted in this city over the past 18 months."
The home has been turned over to Vernon bylaw under the Drug Remediation Bylaw.
The owner must bring the home up to health and safety standards before it can be occupied.
