Vernon RCMP are on the lookout for a man who robbed Charlie's Grocery at knifepoint Monday evening.
Police say the man entered the store shortly before 9:30 p.m., produced a knife and demanded cash. His face was partially covered with his shirt.
"The man grabbed several packages of cigarettes and left the store without any cash," says RCMP spokesman, Gord Molendyk.
"The employee was not physically harmed during the robbery."
The suspect is described as a male in his early 20's with light brown or blond hair, about 6 feet tall and weighing about 170 pounds.
He was wearing a camo type jacket and dark coloured track pants with a thin white stripe down the leg.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Vernon RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
