Poirier picture released

Vernon/North Okanagan RCMP have released the photo of a man wanted in connection with a B&E and attempted sexual assault.

Greg Simon Dennis-Poirier is wanted on a BC Wide Warrant for seven Criminal Code charges in relation to an incident in Vernon which took place last week.

Constable Cathy Scott says the investigation has led police to believe that Dennis-Poirier has left the Vernon area and may be in the Lower Mainland.

“On November 16, a woman living in the East Hills area woke to find a man in her bedroom. She managed to barricade herself in the bathroom and call police,” says Scott.

She says a car related to Poirier was recently found in Vancouver.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Dennis-Poirier are asked to contact the RCMP.
