Vernon RCMP were kept hopping Halloween night.
They responded to 86 complaints between 6 p.m. and 6 a.m.
"As in past years, a number of calls were related to fireworks being set off around the city. Fortunately, there were no serious injuries or damages," says Constable Cathy Scott.
"Police responded to several loud party complaints and calls of property damage. Kal Secondary was hit with paint ball shots with no significant damage and a Vernon resident reported that unknown persons threw a rock through a window in his residence."
Scott says police are also investigating a smash and grab.
"At 1:24 am, RCMP members attended to Sears on 48th Avenue. The front doors had been smashed out and a wide screen TV was stolen. Police are continuing to investigate."
