Kate has been taken home.
A missing Vernon woman has been found. Kate Ross, 68, went missing from her group home on August 9.
She was found at the Kamloops Royal Inland Hospital later that same evening. She was taken to the hospital after she was found riding the local transit system for several hours.
RCMP say Ross has some dementia and has recently suffered a stroke.
They say she may have left the group home after expressing a desire to go to Kamloops.
She has been returned to her family.
