Predator Ridge offers lots for residents to do - even during winter

Teeing up winter activities

The links may have gone silent, but Old Man Winter can't bring Predator Ridge to a halt.

The Vernon-area golf resort manoeuvred its way through the summer of COVID with good success.

“I'm just so proud of what was accomplished here under very challenging conditions,” says Brad Pelletier, vice-president with parent company Wesbild.

“When we did open up to the public after Phase 3, we accomplished some great things here, and I am so proud of what happened here this summer.”

With winter putting golfing on hold, Predator Ridge has brought in four golf simulators for residents to keep their game fresh.

The resort also built a fully enclosed pickleball and tennis facility a couple of years ago, which is well used by residents.

Crews are also getting the area trail network in shape for snowshoeing and fat-bikes.

“The fitness centre is active every day,” added Pelletier.

And for the first time, Predator Ridge will have an outdoor skating rink, complete with a cooling system.

“Our homeowners will be able to skate every day,” said Pelletier.

“We're really trying to deliver and keep them engaged, keep them active and keep them safe.”
