Motorcyclist Charged

Six months after the fact, charges have been laid in connection with a fatal motorcycle accident that claimed the life of a North Okanagan woman.

The accident happened last October on Salmon River Road near Falkland.

Lisa Marie Roberts was riding on the back of a motorcycle that suddenly accelerated. She fell off and was run over by a following truck.

It was her husband that was driving the motorbike.

Thomas Clifford Roberts of Armstrong has been charged with driving without due care and attention.
