Sun breaking through

UPDATE: 11:22 a.m.

So much for forecasts.

Environment Canada has updated their forecast for the remainder of the weekend to mostly sunny skies in the Okanagan Valley.

Really, they're likely throwing darts at weather options so we shouldn't act surprised.

ORIGINAL: 8:02 a.m.

If you are rising from the sleeping bag at the campground this morning, you'll already know that a sweater is likely in order today.

Environment Canada is calling for cool and cloudy conditions for the remainder of the long weekend in the Okanagan valley with highs of 19 C.

Expect strong winds today out of the north at 30 km/h. Don't let the cloud cover fool you, the UV index is still expected to be high at 8.

Winds should die down tonight for that campfire, but holiday Monday proves to be a repeat of today.

Of course, the sun and warmer temps are set to return on Tuesday when you're in the office fighting with coworkers over the air conditioning settings.
